Cameron Kossmann commits to Florida as a late addition to the 2025 class

Cameron Kossmann, a 2-star tight end from Marquette HS in Missouri, announced Monday that he will play at Florida next season to start his college career.

Kossmann is a member of the Class of 2025, one that currently ranks as the No. 10 in the country for the Gators. He committed to the Gators after National Signing Day, a late addition to the class that Florida hopes will be a diamond in the rough.

Kossmann certainly has some advantages. Standing at 6-6, 240 pounds and holding offers from several low-ranked FBS and FCS schools, he is considered the No. 172 in tight end in the class and no. 42 player from Missouri. He is now the No. 2 tight end in Florida’s 2025 class, joining 3-star talent Micah Jones.

As any Florida fan would tell you, the Gators are on a hot streak right now and there is plenty of optimism heading into 2025. The Gators finished the year 8-5 after their bowl win over Tulane and are starting to stack up impressive classes. . And with DJ Lagway leading the offense next year, the Gators may be able to make a big leap.

Let’s see if Billy Napier can get it done.
