Ohio State’s quest for a national championship continues.

The Buckeyes dominated SEC foe Tennessee on Saturday in the first round of the College Football Playoff, dismantling the Vols 42-17 and advancing to the Rose Bowl for a quarterfinal matchup with Oregon.

Will Howard had a great day passing the ball, completing 24 of 29 passes for 311 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Jeremiah Smith caught six passes for 103 yards and hauled in both of Howard’s touchdowns.

The Buckeyes will now take the field again for the Rose Bowl against Oregon on New Year’s Day in the CFP quarterfinals. In the meantime, you can view nearly 90 photos from Saturday’s action in our photo gallery at the top of the page.
