The “sweetest man in stand-up” gets into the Christmas spirit this Christmas with a comedy special.

“Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas,” a Thursday night variety show on CBS featuring Bargatze’s stand-up and some musical guest appearances, was taped at the Grand Ole Opry House in November — a place close to the Nashville, Tennessee-born comedian’s heart.

The collaboration is produced with “Saturday Night Live” creator Lorne Michaels and marks Bargatze’s first primetime TV show. The hour-long special follows Bargatze’s two hosting stints on “SNL” in 2023 and 2024.
