“Just for the record, I’m absolutely going to annihilate this mother – er Saturday night,” declared Tyson Fury as a guest of Ariel Helwani and Ade Oladipo’s Ariel and Ade show this week on DAZN. Fury was, of course, referring to Oleksandr Usyk, the man he will fight on Saturday, December 21, a rematch of their May fight in which Fury lost the WBC heavyweight title to Usyk in a split decision. At stake this Saturday are the three heavyweight titles that Usyk currently holds, the WBA, WBO and WBC belts. The defeat in May marked Fury’s only professional loss and he will seek his revenge in Usyk vs. Fury 2 by accelerating his training and imposing severe restrictions on himself in the run-up to the fight.
