Xavier Watts is always in the right place at the right time. It must be a coincidence. He picked off Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke for his 13th interception in the past two seasons, and Notre Dame has the football inside its own 5-yard line.

BIG PLAY: Indiana intercepts Riley Leonard’s first pass

Leonard had Eli Raridon over the middle, but a Hoosier defensive lineman got his hand in the passing lane. The ball was tipped into the air and intercepted by D’Angelo Ponds, and IU takes over at the Notre Dame 41-yard line.
