Deputies are responding to reports of a shooting near Clackamas Town Center

CLACKAMAS Ore. (KPTV) – Deputies with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to reports of a shooting Friday afternoon, but said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

Multiple units responded near downtown Clackamas after receiving reports of shots fired around 1 p.m. 15.30, according to a post on X.

Deputies said the mall remained open but asked people to avoid the area. They said it was not an active shooter situation.

The MAX Green Line was briefly interrupted due to police activity.
