Party City Closes All Stores After Nearly 4 Decades of Business: Report

NEW YORK (TNND) — Party City, which has been in business for nearly four decades, is to close all of its stores, according to a report.

CNN said Party City CEO Barry Litwin spoke with company employees on Friday and told them the company is immediately “winding down” operations. He also informed them that “today will be their last day of employment,” the outlet noted.

“It’s without a doubt the hardest message I’ve ever had to deliver,” Litwin said CNN.
