Joe Burrow will pay attention to the “big game” between the Broncos and the Chargers

The Bengals have yet to be eliminated from the postseason, but at 6-8 their playoff hopes are slim.

They will need to win each of their last three games while getting significant help.

It starts with Thursday night’s game between the Broncos and the Chargers. Because Los Angeles beat Cincinnati in Week 11, the Chargers hold the tiebreaker over the Bengals.

Los Angeles can lose and finish 8-9, which would open the door for Cincinnati. The Broncos can lose and finish 9-8, which would also present an opportunity if the Colts and Dolphins drop once in the final three.

So that’s why Joe Burrow noted in his press conference Wednesday that he’ll be keeping an eye on what happens Thursday night in Los Angeles.
