In the Season 3 finale, Caleb ended up proposing to Mariah after coming to terms with their relationship. And though Mariah was shocked and it took her a moment to respond in disbelief, she finally said yes.

“It’s so surreal right now. I can’t believe we’re engaged… This is what true happiness feels like,” Mariah said after the proposal. “This was really the last piece that was missing for me, and to know that I have such a strong man by my side in this, I feel truly blessed.”

At the reunion, they confirmed they are still engaged a year later and plan to tie the knot in a destination wedding in the summer of 2026.

They also maintained a united front even though Aria (Caleb’s trial marriage partner) accused Caleb of liking her Instagram stories and blocking/unblocking her on social media after getting engaged. Mariah later called Caleb out for insisting that his emotional connection with Aria was simply platonic, saying it was hurtful to watch unfold in front of cameras.

“When we left the show, it was a moment to resume building from a healthy place,” Caleb said. “When I left (the show), I had to take responsibility for my actions and really take note of who I had become in this.”

Scotty and Aria had a tearful proposal day, reflecting on the “difficulty” and “doubt” they faced in the relationship. Calling it their “biggest triumph together as a couple,” Scotty then got down on one knee and proposed to Aria.

“I choose you right now, today and for all my tomorrows,” Scotty said. “Because you’re not just a woman I want to be with, you’re the woman I can’t live without.”

Aria accepted his proposal – but at the reunion they revealed they are no longer together, and Aria broke off the engagement just a day later. “I realized I made a mistake pretty soon after,” Aria said.

Despite their decision to continue dating afterward and “work through” their issues by attending couples therapy, Scotty and Aria ultimately couldn’t find a solution. Aria also dropped the bombshell that her grandmother died in the wake of their split and she suffered a miscarriage.

“You don’t love me the way I want to be loved,” she said through tears, pointing out that she was tired of waiting and listening to Scotty’s excuses. “I’m not just giving up on the relationship because I don’t care, it’s because I’m tired and emotionally drained.”

For his part, Scotty said he will “always be there” for Aria and apologized to her for his actions, even though he was clearly devastated by their split.

After a roller-coaster ride on the show, Sandy and Nick entered the proposal day with their relationship in a state of uncertainty – largely in part due to Nick’s behavior while Sandy was in her trial marriage with JR

Nick ended up revealing that he had a ring in his pocket, but Sandy stopped him before he could propose, noting that they still had “things to work through.” In the end, the two decided to go their separate ways without a proposal in the finale.

“I came here for answers. I feel like I got the answers I need. They’re not the answers I wanted. It breaks my heart tremendously,” Nick said afterward.

During the reunion, Nick claimed that he didn’t actually have a ring at the proposal and had no intention of proposing. The two also confirmed that they are no longer together. Nick later revealed that Sandy helped him check into rehab after he started “drinking a lot” after the show, and Sandy opened up about feeling “bombarded” by Nick’s actions “every day” for the past year.

“I’m really exhausted with my relationship with Nick,” Sandy said through her tears, prompting Nick to accept the “emotionally aggressive energy” he directed at Sandy.

“I’m sorry I broke it up for you in any way,” Nick said.

Like Sandy and Nick, JR and Zaina had a bumpy journey on the show. On the day of the proposal, JR praised Zaina for how she would “make a great wife (and) mother” and said he imagined loving her and giving her everything he has.

But then he changed his tune. “I can see all that with you and when I look at myself now, I don’t think I’m at that point to give you what you deserve,” he said, before confirming he would be leaving the show single.

At the reunion, the two revealed that they were still broken up, although Zaina initially tried to get back together. They also argued about their perspectives on the timeline of their breakup and whether JR needed closure before Zaina revealed that JR allegedly asked her out to a birthday dinner but then canceled the night and never moved.

Zaina also called out JR for “downplaying” the details of his trial marriage with Sandy and called him “gross” as a video clip played showing him making inappropriate comments and remarks to other cast members about only being on the show for a “hall passport”. .”

Today, both JR and Zaina are still single. JR said he is not dating anyone and is currently in therapy, while Zaina said she dated around and recently froze her eggs for her 33rd birthday.

After leaving the show early in episode 4, Dave and Vanessa returned for the season 3 reunion. They confirmed they are still together and recently went ring shopping, with a proposal “coming soon.”

“It helped us progress in a lot of different ways,” Vanessa said, to which Dave added, “It was very enlightening for both of us to see that we were aligned… I still 100% want to marry Vanessa , and that is clearly the next step.”

The two also spent their time at the reunion discussing the reason behind their early exit, with Vanessa saying she felt “uncomfortable” about certain conversations with Nick and the lies he allegedly told, along with the unresolved “trauma” he had in his life.

“The first day I lived with you, it was like riding 15 roller coasters with you, and I don’t know anyone who would have wanted to stay on that,” Vanessa said, adding that she left without give Nick a heads up because “I don’t owe him anything.

(Editor’s note: Nick previously issued a statement to PEOPLE saying he was “surprised” by Vanessa’s claims about the show. “I was blindsided by the negativity and contempt directed at me,” he said in part. “I acknowledged and apologized several times if I was upset made her uncomfortable she accepted my apology and made it clear I wasn’t the only reason she left the show I wish them truly the best and hope they find happiness and kindness.
