Women’s soccer: Lackey takes home ECAC Rookie of the Year

DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman forward Ginny Lackey of the James Madison women’s soccer team has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-ECAC Second Team as the ECAC announced its Division I women’s soccer honors Monday morning. Lackey is the second Duke to take home a major award from the ECAC and the first since Alexandra Blom was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
