Where does Frontier Airlines fly internationally?

According to its website, Denver-based Frontier Airlines flies to Barbados, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten Island and the US Virgin Islands.

Does Frontier Airlines fly to Europe?

Frontier Airlines does not currently offer flights from the US to Europe.

In 2022, Frontier CEO Barry Biffle told the travel news website Upgraded points that he would be interested in offering flights to Europe, Hawaii and South America via Airbus A321XLR aircraft that the airline had on order at the time.

The narrow-body jet will allow Frontier “to offer coast-to-coast service and explore exciting international and domestic opportunities, such as Hawaii,” Biffle said.

But Frontier announced in August that it was canceling its plans to order the A321XLR, which is capable of flying up to 4,700 nautical miles, due to cost-cutting measures. The airlines’ decision followed similar moves this year by competitors Spirit and JetBlue, which also reportedly had complaints about the jet’s fuel efficiency, according to the travel news website FlightGlobal.

When reached for comment, Frontier spokeswoman Jennifer F. de la Cruz said Newsweek, “We currently do not fly to Europe or Hawaii. We have expanded significantly in the Caribbean. We also serve destinations in Mexico and Latin America.”
