Bad Attack Headlines Matchup of Rangers vs Predators

Rangers vs. Predators, 8:00 ET

After a lot of football this past weekend – mostly NFL – we’re back for a break from the sports world. This week offers more excitement than last week with the NBA Cup taking place tonight, a boatload of great college hoops games and, of course, the fun NHL games we’ll be focusing on. I’m excited to get back on the ice after a few days off. Tonight we get a game between the Rangers and Predator which I have an angle on.

The Rangers are pretty much average to this point in the year with a 15-14-1 record. They are also just 8-6-0 away from home, so not significantly better than they are at home. They are not in good form at the moment and have lost four of their last five matches. Their only win was against the Sabers on the road almost a week ago. In the season, they have scored three goals per match on 30.4 shots and allowed three goals per game on 31.6 shots. They are unfortunately the definition of average. They are a bit scared at the moment as Artemi Panarin, their point leader, is day-to-day, as is their best goaltender, Igor Shesterkin. Both of them are expected to feature in this game, and that obviously makes a big difference both offensively and defensively. Shesterkin will probably be in net tonight. He is 10-11-1 for the season with a 3.08 goals against average. game and has a .907 save percentage, but both numbers are good.

The Predator are off to a pretty disastrous start to their year with a record of 8-17-6 currently. They’re better at home, but it’s not great, with just a 5-7-2 home record. This suggests that they are significantly worse on the road (3-10-4). I wouldn’t exactly describe them as good at home, but there are small signs of improvement. Currently, they are also in crisis as they have also won only one game in their last five matchups. They actually have just one game in their last nine with a three-game stretch where they lost 3-2 in overtime. The Predators offense has been terrible this season, scoring just 2.26 goals per game. match average. In eight of their last 10 games, they have scored just two goals. If they win, they typically score four goals per game. match. In fact, there is only one win on the program from the Predators this year, where they have won by fewer than four goals. Juuse Saros is probably in net and I can’t say that he is the problem with the team. Saros is 6-14-5, allowing just 2.74 goals per game. game and a save percentage of .908.

I think there’s a pretty easy way to play almost any Predator game – if you think they’re going to lose, play under 2.5 goals. If you think they can win, bet over 3.5 goals. The reality is that neither of these teams play very good hockey and neither offense looks good. Rangers have scored more than three goals only once in the last five games. I will back the under 6s in this one as I think it will end in a 3-2 final or something lower.
