Police in Wisconsin are investigating frightening social media posts linked to mass school shooter Natalie ‘Samantha’ Rupnow

Investigators are examining the digital footprint of Madison, Wisconsin school shooter Natalie ‘Samantha’ Rupnow, as well as examining a possible manifesto the 15-year-old may have left behind.

Rupnow opened fire on children and staff at Abundant Life Christian School on Monday – rain bullets in the study hall and killed two before turning the gun on herself.

Accounts linked to Rupnow online show an obsession with possible white supremacy ideologies and infamous former school shooters, as well as a chilling message from ‘Unabomber’ Ted Kaczynski.

Screenshots of her alleged manifesto have shown Rupnow to be a lonely child who said she was ‘trapped and forced into my corner.’

Rupnow expressed displeasure at what she described as a broken home and made several referrals to a therapist.

She reportedly describes herself as a ‘loner’ but admits that she will ‘mourn friends but sooner rather than later they will leave’.

The posted pages do not point to a specific political ideology, but they claim “we need revolution.”

It ends with a quote attributed to the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski: ‘Finally one learns that boredom is a disease of civilization.’

Social media portrays a more disturbed portrait as she allegedly posted photos of Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz and Columbine ‘trench coat mafia’ members Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

Another sign of a possible obsession with the Columbine massacre are previously verified photos of Rupnow wearing the shirt of the German industrial rock band KMFDM.

Jeff Rupnow posted the snap on his public Facebook page in August, showing his daughter pointing a shotgun at a clay pigeon while wearing a black top emblazoned with the band’s name.

Columbine killer Eric Harris was infamously seen wearing a KMFDM T-shirt prior to the 1999 Colorado high school massacre in which 13 were murdered.

The teenage shooters in the 1999 Columbine school massacre in Colorado were known to be avid fans of the band, and one of the killers posted the band’s lyrics on his website.

At the time, KMFDM issued a statement condemning the attack, expressing sympathy for the victims and affirming that its music was meant to stand against violence.

The massacre is often seen as a watershed moment in the age of American school shootings.

Rupnow appears to be influenced by neo-Nazi ideologies based on her social media life.

The Columbine shooters included speeches from Adolf Hitler on Harris’ website in addition to the rock lyrics.

On an X account believed to be Rupnow’s, she posted a video of a stabbing that took place in Sweden in 2015 that ended in the death of a teacher. The stabber is believed to have attacked immigrants.

On December 13, three days before the shooting, the account shared a video of someone taking their own life at a gun range.

The last two posts, posted minutes before Rupnow opened fire, showed someone giving the ‘OK’ sign, which the Anti-Defamation League has called a symbol of white power.

The second was a Google Drive link with no further description, which some have speculated is the manifesto.

A Tumblr potentially linked to Rupnow shows pictures of guns and photos from past shootings, according to the ABC News.

“Identifying a motive is our top priority, but at this time it appears the motive was a combination of factors,” Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said at a news conference.

He added: ‘A document about this shooting is currently circulating on social media, but we have not confirmed its authenticity.’

Investigators are examining her cell phone, computer and online posts, as well as looking into how to verify a possible manifest the shooter may have left.

Some details about Rupnow’s life are beginning to emerge.

Jeff Rupnow’s cover photo, published in August, shows what appears to be a teenage girl firing a shotgun at a local club.

Police said Rupnow used a gun but have not said how it was obtained. Earlier this year, the Michigan parents of a school shooter in that state were found guilty for their role in giving their son access to the gun he used to kill.

Wisconsin officials said at Tuesday’s press conference that it was too early to say whether Rupnow’s parents could be held legally responsible.

Police Chief Barnes said that so far it appeared that such charges were not warranted.

Rupnow killed a student, a teacher and then himself at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison shortly before 11 a.m. Monday.
