Steve Harvey Death Hoax Spurred by AI Report

The false reports of Steve Harvey‘s death is allegedly the result of artificial intelligence.

According to TheWrapan article titled “Steve Harvey Passed Away Today: Remembering The Legacy Of A Comedy Legend” was published on Trend Cast News Tuesday, December 17 and later gathered on Newsbreak. The article had a future publication date of December 19, 2024.

It has since been assumed that the article is the result of an AI error. Us Weekly has reached out to Harvey’s rep for comment.

Harvey, 67, has not publicly addressed the scam but has been active on his official Facebook and Instagram accounts throughout Wednesday, December 18.

Steve and his wife, Marjorie Harveyhave been married since 2007. The Family feud the host adopted his three children from previous relationships: Morgan, Jason and Lori. Steve also shares twins Brandi and Karli and son Broderick with ex-wife Marcia Harvey and son Wynton with ex-wife Mary Shackelford.

Steve is often candid about fatherhood, including watching his kids start dating.

“If I spot a bad one, I’ll get rid of them,” Steve joked exclusively Us in March. “I don’t do anything about it, so they are very careful when they bring them. You may think one person is wonderful, but everyone is wonderful in the beginning. All of you, you always meet the mask.”

He added: “The mask can last about 90 days and after a while the mask starts to unravel and I just try to wait for that period. Sometimes they make it, sometimes they don’t.”

According to Steve, he can decipher the intentions of his daughters’ suitors from the moment they meet.

“But if you come into the house and I know right off the bat that you’re just not a good guy, I’ll start the reading process right away,” he explained. “I’m not saying anything to my daughter, I’m just starting to work behind the scenes to get rid of this guy.”

Steve added: “(A) relationship becomes an elevator. It can take you up or it can take you down, so choose wisely.”

Steve further noted that he has taught his sons to be “very respectful of women.”

“Treat them the way you would have someone treat your sister and your mother and then walk away. And no other treatment is acceptable. So I think they got it,” Steve said before joking, “mine daughters, I wish they had listened to me more, but they had to go through it.”
