Why Aaron Jones Is in Position to Go OVER His Rushing Prop on MNF vs. Bears

Julian Edlow breaks down his best bet on Bears vs. Vikings on MNF, including a player endorsement on Aaron Jones.

The Bears continue to slide down the rankings in terms of rushing yards allowed this season, now averaging just 150 per game over their last three outings. Chicago’s rush defense has also been even worse on the road compared to home games this season. That sets up a good spot for Aaron Jones on Monday Night Football, with a familiar matchup that he has dominated recently while priced as a heavy home favorite.

Jones has been bottled up a bit over the last few weeks, but broke out of his slump last week, and is able to carry some of that momentum into this matchup with the Bears. In a win over Falcon last Sunday, Jones finished with a 13-73-1 line on the ground, good for 5.6 yards per carry. carry. It was his best mark against YPC in nearly two months. Let’s see if he can build on that against a team he knows – Jones had just 106 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries against the Bears on Nov. 24.

With Chicago’s run defense only getting worse, the play script and matchup bodes well for Jones to have a big game on the ground Monday night.
