‘Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry’ brings Christmas cheer with Kate Hudson in sequins, Kelsea Ballerini shines in gold and more looks

Small big city and the Grand Ole Opry ushers in the holiday season with a festive television special, “Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry,” premiering Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and streamed the following day on Peacock. Hosted by three-time Grammy Award-winning group Little Big Town, the show features performances of Christmas classics and original carols by some of the biggest names in music. The special, recorded at Nashville’s historic Grand Ole Opry House, includes solo performances, duets and collaborative numbers.

Joining Little Big Town is a lineup of famous artists and entertainers including Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Sheryl Crow, Kirk Franklin, Josh Groban, Kate Hudson and Orville Peck. Ahead of the special’s debut, the artists showcased holiday glamor with eye-catching looks for the shoot.

Kelsea Ballerini wore a sparkling gold sequin gown with a high neckline and a thigh-high slit. The sleeveless design was fitted and had a subtle sheen that caught the light. She completed her look with black peep-toe heels and hair styled in waves that cascaded over her shoulders.

Kate Hudson hit the red carpet in a floor-length sheer sequin dress with a relaxed silhouette. The dress featured oversized sleeves and a dramatic thigh-high slit that added movement and structure to the design. The look was completed with metallic silver platform heels with ankle straps, while her hair was styled in long, soft waves.

Orville Peck brought his signature style to the event, opting for a green velvet suit with a classic slim fit. The ensemble featured a black satin lapel and matching green trousers. He paired the look with a white shirt, a black bow tie and polished black leather boots. Peck added a statement black cowboy hat adorned with festive floral details and wore his signature black fringe mask, staying true to his personal style aesthetic.

The members of Little Big Town performed in complementary ensembles. Kimberly Schlapman wore a silver metallic off-the-shoulder dress with a full-length silhouette. The dress featured textured fabric, creating a statement for the audience. Karen Fairchild chose a floor-length white dress with feather detailing along the sleeves and hem, adding to its festive appeal. The male members, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, coordinated in classic black suits. Both styled their looks with white shirts in a relaxed, tailored presentation.

On the red carpet, Schlapman chose a bold red strapless dress with an oversized, sculptural rosette detail on the bodice. The dress’s voluminous layers create a high-low hem that emphasizes a sense of structure and flow. The asymmetric skirt design showcases matching red peep-toe heels that tie the look together.
