This NFC North team needs to make a statement with the NFL Playoff spot secured

The Minnesota Vikings clinched a playoff spot following the conclusion of Sunday’s slate in Week 15 of the NFL schedule. That doesn’t mean they don’t have something to deal with in their matchup on Monday Night Football.

The 11-2 Vikings host the 4-9 Chicago Bears in an NFC North matchup at US Bank Stadium. Minnesota won the previous matchup 30-27 at Soldier Field in Chicago in Week 12.

The Vikings are a capable scoring threat under offensive-minded head coach and former NFL quarterback Kevin O’Connell. Sam Darnold found his ultimate resurgence at quarterback with 28 touchdown passes and nearly 3,300 yards through the air. He has a capable running back in Aaron Jones and talented wideouts Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.
