Pistons vs. Heat GameThread: Game Time, TV, Odds and more

If you consider Erik Spoelstra the best coach in the NBA, which I do, you might fear what he has in store for the Detroit Pistons tonight when his Miami Heat visit Little Caesars Arena. It’s rare when you can say that an NBA coach, especially a big one, literally cost his team an NBA game, but that’s exactly what happened when these two teams met in November.

Spoelstra called a timeout in overtime when the Heat didn’t have one, giving the Pistons the lead with just 1.1 seconds left to play. They ultimately won the game 123-121. The Heat coach might be out for some revenge tonight. The Heat came into the game having won four in a row and scorched the nets offensively. Again, as a Pistons fan, I’m scared.
