NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two of the next three days will feature scattered showers in the Midstate.

Monday will be the warmest day of the week with high temperatures rising into the low to mid 60s. An approaching cold front will bring us scattered showers throughout the afternoon and evening. Thinking about roadways is something to be careful of during the evening commute.

Tuesday will be a drier day, but some clouds will linger. Temperatures will top out near 60 degrees for afternoon highs.

A stronger cold front will bring showers back to the Midstate to start Wednesday. Many of these showers will linger into the afternoon, but drier conditions are expected during the evening. Overnight lows will drop into the 30s.

Thursday and Friday are cooler days with highs in the mid-40s. A mix of sunshine and clouds is expected each afternoon.

Saturday will start out cool with morning temperatures in the 20s. Skies will become partly cloudy in the afternoon. We’ll drop back into the 20s Sunday morning.

Sunday will be a cold day with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Mostly sunny skies are expected.
