The Los Angeles Lakers have already ruled LeBron James out for Friday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to soreness in his left foot. Los Angeles has endured an inconsistent 2024-25 season as they are 13-11 heading into Friday’s contest. The Lakers will need Anthony Davis on the floor against the Timberwolves amid James’ absence, but will the big star be available to play?

Minnesota has not lived up to their expectations thus far, going just 12-11 in the 2024-25 campaign. The Timberwolves last played on Sunday when they were defeated 114-106 by the Golden State Warriors.
