Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren Prepare for Ranch War in ‘1923’ Season 2 Trailer

A new teaser trailer for the second season of 1923a prequel to Yellowstonehas come on the heels of Yellowstone series finalewhich ended its fifth season on Sunday.

In the new 1923 clip, Harrison Ford’s Jacob declares, “This ranch is under attack. Our way of life is under attack,” setting the chilling tone for the impending war the Duttons are preparing to fight to protect their Bozeman, Montana family ranch.The fight for their land calls Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) home, which will require him to endure a precarious transcontinental journey to join the fight with his family.

“This ranch will drive you to your death,” Mirren’s Cara warns her husband, Jacob. Later in the trailer, Jacob is adamant about an unspecified threat. “I think that’s about as far as I want to be pushed,” he says.

Season 1 tracked a new generation of the Dutton family after the 10-season episode run 1883, the first one Yellowstone prequel spinoff, which starred Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw. and Faith Hill. The 1923s the next generation of Duttons is led by patriarch Jacob (brother of Tim McGraw’s character) and matriarch Cara, who navigate early 20th century challenges and threats to their way of life.

The Taylor Sheridan-created series, which returns February 23 via Paramount+, also stars Timothy Dalton, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph and Sebastian Roché.
