Cody Ford’s illness tests the Bengals’ offensive line depth

game

Cincinnati Bengals Offensive lineman Cody Ford is inactive for Sunday’s NFL Week 15 game against Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium.

Ford was added Saturday to the team’s injury report, listed as questionable with an illness.

Starting left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. was declared out with a fibula injury. Ford, who has started at left guard, is listed as Brown’s backup at left tackle. With Ford unavailable, the Bengals will turn to Devin Cochran, Andrew Stueber or Andrew Coker.

Cochran made his NFL debut in November after the Bengals waived him off the practice squad. Stueber was waived in November, but rejoined the practice squad and moved up to the active roster earlier this month. Coker was lifted from the practice squad on Saturday.

Ford is in his sixth NFL season, second with the Bengals. He played in 17 games last season with one start and has played in all nine games this season.
