Breece Hall, Mike Evans, NFL Injury Status and Fantasy Impact for Week 15 | News, results, highlights, stats and rumours

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is in a much better shape to play in Week 15 than he was a week ago.

It’s an unexpected surprise for fantasy football players who have relied on Hall’s results for most of the NFL season.

Hall is officially listed as questionable, an upgrade from a week ago when he was questionable before being ruled out.

There is also good news surrounding Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, who was back at practice on Friday. He has had a problem with his hamstring.

Below is a look at all the significant injuries that will impact fantasy football matchups in Week 15.

Breece Hall, RB, NYJ: Expected to play (knee), according to ESPN.com’s Rich Cimini.
Bucky Irving, RB, TB: Decision on playing time (hip), by Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud.
D’Andre Swift, RB, CHI: Did not practice Friday (groin), per 670 Score.
Kenneth Walker III, RB, SEA: Questionable (calf), according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tony Pollard, RB. TEN: Doubtful (ankle), according to the Nashville Post’s John Glennon.
George Pickens, WR, PIT: Out (hamstring), per Schefter.
Keon Coleman, WR, BUF: Full participant in Friday practice (wrist), per team injury report.
Dalton Kincaid, TE, BUF: Questionable (knee), per team injury report.
Trey McBride, TE, ARI: Injury report outside the knee, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Alexander Mattison, RB, LV: Full participant in Friday practice (ankle), per team injury report.
Ladd McConkey, WR, LAC: Limited participation in Thursday’s practice (knee/shoulder), per team injury report.

Breece Hall is expected to play

Breece Hall is in line to return to the field after a week out.

Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Hall “looks good,” per ESPN.com’s Rich Cimini.

Hall missed last week’s game with the Miami Dolphins, but he should be on the field for the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On paper, the matchup against Jacksonville looks great for Hall and the Jets. The Jags conceded over 100 rushing yards in six straight games.

Five of Jacksonville’s last six opponents rushed for at least 125 yards, and a week ago it allowed 102 yards on 21 carries to Tennessee’s Tony Pollard.

Hall has only rushed for over 100 yards once this season, but he has been consistent with his production.

The Jets star has had at least 60 rushing yards in four of his last five games, and he’s topped 50 rushing yards in all but three appearances.

Hall could also be in line for a pair of touchdowns on Sunday, as the Jags are tied for the fourth-most touchdowns conceded to opposing running backs.

Mike Evans will return to practice on Friday

Mike Evans is also headed in the right direction for Week 15.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver practiced Friday after missing a few days of practice earlier this week.

Evans followed a similar schedule last week, producing 69 receiving yards on four catches.

Evans wasn’t needed as much in Week 14 because the Bucs took care of the Las Vegas Raiders.

He should take on more responsibility in the passing game in a tougher matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers aren’t the easiest matchup for Evans, Baker Mayfield and the Bucs’ passing game, but they’ve given up over 200 passing yards in three of the last four weeks.
