CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Three people were injured during an armed robbery at SouthPark Mall on Friday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police reports.

The theft happened on Friday, December 6 around 4:15 pm at Nordstrom.

Police said the suspect, reportedly a woman, took a handful of items from the store while “using a deadly weapon to facilitate her crime.”

Reports stated that the suspect used a knife and gun during the robbery, and three people reportedly suffered minor injuries. It was not clear whether the injured were employees or shoppers.

The police report listed clothing as one of the stolen items, as well as Xanax and a Springfield Hellcat – one of the world’s highest capacity micro-compact 9mm handguns. Again, reports did not specify where the gun or drugs were stolen from.

So far, there is no indication that any arrests have been made in the case.
