A new disaster survival series called La Palma dropped on Netflix and it has four episodes of absolute mayhem. La Palma is about a Norwegian family vacationing in La Palm, and they have to come face to face with tragedy when a volcano erupts and causes a tsunami. As the season ends, we see various characters find their way to some sort of safety. Their only chance is to reach a place called the safe place where they will be evacuated from.

The tsunami destroys the island and everything on it

As the tsunami destroys the island, we see the boats and planes that were the best chance for people to get out of there, break into pieces. The plane that Sara and Charlie had is destroyed before they take off. Fredrick reaches safety on his boat and braves a high wave that accompanied the tsunami.

Fredrick doesn’t know if his family made it, but he hears the sound of Tobias calling out for him and is finally reunited with his family, excluding Sara, who is unconscious on the plane. When she wakes you up, she finds Charlie unconscious and gives her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to bring her back to life. The family is finally reunited in the safe place. Jens, on the other hand, is finally relieved to be able to save the people who are in a safe place.

Will there be a second season of La Palma?

Well, it doesn’t look like there will be a second season, nor has there been any official announcement. The series is listed as a limited series and the plot has pretty much reached its conclusion so there doesn’t seem to be any reason to take the story any further unless they want to bring another family to the country and see another volcanic eruption.

If the show gets an overwhelmingly good response, it could be a possibility; however, it can be a far-reaching possibility. La Palma is a four-episode series, and the creators have taken it upon themselves to keep the narrative crisp and to the point.
