Remy Ma slams Papoose and new girlfriend as he calls her a ‘narcissist’

Remy Ma airs some dirty laundry between her estranged husband Papoose and his new girlfriend.

The “Whuteva” rapper, 44, shared one series of burning Instagram posts on Thursday, Dec. 12, both Papoose, 46, and Olympic gold medalist boxer Claressa Shields, who Remy accused of planting negative stories about her in the press.

On her Instagram Stories, Remy claimed Shields, 29, had been “posting fake stories” about her “to make me look bad and (make Papoose) look like a godsend for too long” – while Papoose responded by to call his ex a “narcissist.”

Remy wrote that she asked Papoose to issue some kind of statement to counter the stories, but he urged her to stay quiet, so she took matters into her own hands and blasted Shields, sharing private text messages she allegedly sent to Papoose .

“I begged @papoose to release something to stop the narrative and he kept telling me just shut up it’s the best thing to do…,” Remy wrote. “Don’t worry, I saw EVERYTHING now, the world is going to see it since you’re so tough.”

A representative for Shields did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Remy and Papoose, who starred together on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New Yorksaid “I do” over the phone while Remy was incarcerated in 2008, and made their union official in 2016. They share a 5-year-old daughter named Reminisce.

In a separate Instagram post, Papoose accused Remy of being a “narcissist” and said he had repeatedly asked for a divorce. Shields, meanwhile, urged the Grammy nominee to “stop lying.”

In the first of a series of alleged text messages between Shields and Papoose released by Remy, Shields expresses frustration with Papoose for not spending time with her “personally” and failing to let her know he had arrived home safely.

“Nuwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl you’re not the only one,” Remy captioned her post.

In another conversation, Shields apparently warned Papoose to clear things up with Remy ahead of the Christmas Day release of The fire withina forthcoming sports biography of Shields training for the 2012 London Olympics.

“I know you hate the internet games, but you have to do something about this girl today, my PR team will be excited when they see this,” Shields reportedly wrote, apparently referring to Remy. “I can’t be up here exposing her etc until the movie comes out on December 25th… I’m not worried about anything she says or writes in her story.”

In her caption, Remy called Papoose a “f*ckin Dummy”, accused him of “planning … to destroy me” and threatened to leak sexual photos or videos.

A third screenshot of Shields’ alleged texts showed the athlete telling Papoose she was “not happy” but wanted to “just stop” because she didn’t want to stress him out. Shields then went on to lament the apparent dynamic in their relationship, saying his actions made her feel “stupid.”

“Hey Ms. Shields, I’m a ONE girlfriend, the same way I was a ONE husband,” Remy wrote in her caption. “And I’m a good woman for that. That’s why mfs won’t just walk away. Oh, and he’ll never buy you anything because he thinks HE IS the prize he’s a taker, not a giver. Plus I’m the with the bag lol don’t play with me cause i’m not even mad i’m very happy that’s why your girlfriend is mad oh and i know you said, you feel stupid, but you also look stupid out-”

Remy then shared a series of friendly Instagram DMs between her and Shields, including the athlete wishing her a Happy New Year.

Shields eventually responded with an Instagram Story of her own that included a screenshot of Remy congratulating her on 2020, apparently after she won a unanimous decision over Ivana Habazin.

“@remyma you were a fan of mine! Stop lying,” Shields wrote.

Papoose, meanwhile, also posted a lengthy statement to Instagram, accusing Remy of cheating while they were together and “playing the victim” now that he’s moved on from their relationship.

“Sad to say @remyma is a narcissist. She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I’ve finally moved on, she’s playing the victim. I’ve filed for divorce multiple times,” he wrote. media. Take this like civilized adults. I didn’t want to do the social media nonsense. For the sake of my 6 year old baby. She has to go to school. As you can see, I remained quiet through it all.”

He also shared a photo of Remy with another man in front of a Christmas tree in a since-deleted post, writing that it was how she spent last Christmas while he was with their daughter. Papoose apparently claimed that he had beaten Remy’s new husband and Remy refused to divorce him because Papoose would not lie about the fight.

“Now that I FINALLY moved on, she’s angry and making up lies. #Narcissist I told her we could divorce as adults. She refuses to do it because I didn’t want to lie and say I didn’t knock this bitch out,” he wrote. “I didn’t knock him out because he slept with my wife. I knocked him out because he shook my hand. And then slept with my wife.”

Remy previously shut down rumors that she had cheated on Papoose in an Instagram Live in October.
