Students can score $25 flights around the US with this Amazon sale – How to book

Holiday flight prices are no joke – and when you’re on a student budget, the prices can feel even steeper.

But luckily, and perhaps in the name of the holiday spirit, Amazon is teaming up with StudentUniverse, an online travel agency that offers discounted travel for students and people under 30, again this year to bring a limited number of affordable flights to students.

The partnership comes as StudentUniverse has found that 66 percent of Gen Z expected to take on debt during the holiday season, with a third allocating their holiday spending to travel.

“At StudentUniverse, our mission is to make travel more accessible and affordable for young people,” Mirza Smajic, Vice President of Global Supply and Brand Partnerships at StudentUniverse shared with Travel + Leisure in a statement. “Our ongoing partnership with Amazon Young Adults has allowed us to support thousands of young travelers in securing budget-friendly flights and accommodations worldwide. Now in its second year, this campaign is a heartfelt way to bring joy to the holiday season by helping young people across the country, travel home to reconnect with loved ones.”

To qualify, students must have a Young Adult account on Prime or can sign up for an account at amazon.com/25flights. Young Adult accounts cost $69 per year, or nearly $8 per month.

The sale starts on Monday at 10 a.m. PT and applies to flights within the United States where travel occurs between the sale date and January 14, 2024.

A total of 5,000 $25 flights will be available during the promotion – with 1,000 tickets dropping each day from the 9th to the 13th.

Time to mark your calendars… and your alarm.
