John Travolta celebrates Thanksgiving with children Ella and Ben: ‘We love you!’

The ‘Pulp Fiction’ actor supports his children and celebrates their achievements

John Travolta feeling grateful this holiday season.

The Pulp Fiction actor shared a photo on Instagram of him and his children Ella and Benjamin on Friday, November 29, celebrate Thanksgiving together.

“I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!” John, 70, captioned the post, where the trio pose around a table. “We love you! And always appreciate your support!” he added, calling out his followers.

The Fat actor shares Ella, 24, and Ben, 14with late wife Kelly PrestonWHO died of breast cancer in 2020. The two also share son JettWHO died in 2009 at the age of 16.

John supports his children and constantly celebrates their achievements on social media, like when he wrote about Ella’s film role in Get lost in 2021writes “I am a very proud father!” then. It’s his son Ben, meanwhile passionate about parkour trainingwhich he excitedly shares updates on.

Ella told PEOPLE in October of her father’s support when she started writing music during the pandemic: “At the beginning of the pandemic, I had a lot of little voice notes on my phone with snippets of songs that I came up with, or melodies,” she said. “I play the ukulele and I write a lot on the ukulele, so little ukulele songs (too).”

When he showed John his original music, he responded enthusiastically, Ella said.

“He was like, ‘Oh, wow, you should really finish these. You should finish these songs and then you could record demos of them or something,'” she recalled, adding that his father’s enthusiasm “was definitely a big part of me that really wants to get into it even more.”

Ella relies on John’s advice when it comes to the music industry. “Obviously the best advice I’ve gotten is from him, but he also really leaves it up to me, which I really appreciate,” she said. “He trusts me and my instincts a lot.”
