The Iowa women’s basketball team and the Rhode Island women’s basketball team are headed to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya to compete in the 2024 Cancun Challenge this Thanksgiving, 28-30. November. Each team will play twice, going head-to-head on November 28 and 29.

Each year, ten NCAA women’s basketball teams descend on beautiful Cancun, Mexico for a weekend of tournament basketball to help jumpstart their early season schedules. This year, teams like BYU, VCU, Iowa and Wisconsin are heading south to play in a round-robin tournament.

The ten teams were divided into two divisions, Mayan and Riviera.
