Saquon Barkley has been grabbing all the headlines for the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Jalen Hurts is quietly having a fantastic season.

He has only thrown 12 touchdown passes in his 10 games, but with the team 8-2, you can’t say that has affected their ability to win games. He has an average QB rating of 101.8 and has thrown just three interceptions.

You’d be forgiven for thinking my best bet might involve Hurts adding to his 11 rushing touchdowns, but despite scoring nine times in the past five games, I expect Hurts to go over 218, 5 passing yards against the Rams.

First, we’ve seen Hurts average just above that, at 219.7 passing yards per game. match. He’s been better with his arm over the past month, throwing for 218.5 yards in three of his last four games and falling short of that total in just four of 10.

The Rams haven’t been great against the pass, and their defense has the 11th-worst record in passing yards, allowing an average of 223.3 per game.

Hurts is playing at an impressive level right now and is doing what needs to be done to get his team the W. The threat of the run game does a great job of keeping defenses honest, which should allow Hurts to get the passing game going.
