Week 12’s Sunday Night Football matchup features two teams battling for NFC playoff position as the Rams host the Eagles to cap Sunday’s action.

The Eagles enter the game aiming for the top seed in the NFC. Philadelphia is 8-2 and one game back of the Detroit Lions for the No. 1 place in the conference. The Eagles are currently on a six-game winning streak, which includes two straight wins over division rivals Washington and Dallas.

In his first season with the Eagles, Saquon Barkley has been a star, already rushing for 1,137 yards and eight touchdowns on 187 carries. On the receiving end, AJ Brown missed three games earlier this year but still has 33 catches for 618 yards and three touchdowns.

As for the Rams, they continue to contend for a playoff spot with a 5-5 record. LA is locked in a three-team tie for second place in the NFC West, one game behind the 6-4 Cardinals. Los Angeles began the season 1-4, but is 4-1 in its last five games to get back into the playoff conversation.

The Rams have gotten healthier over the past month, with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua leading the passing attack. Veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford has played in every game this year, producing 2,557 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

20:48: Stafford is in rhythm as he finds DeMarcus Robinson and Nacua for a pair of big gains to get inside the Eagles 10-yard line.

20:44: Stafford and Puka Nacua connect for 14 yards on the second play of the drive and the Rams are already at midfield.

20:39: FAIL GOAL! The Rams keep the Eagles from getting the ball into the end zone, but Jake Elliott hits a short field goal to open the scoring.

20:37: Saquon Barkley has the Eagles moving as he carries the ball three times to get into a go-ahead situation.

20:34: Jalen Hurts completes to AJ Brown for the first two times tonight and the Eagles are past midfield and well into Rams territory after the turnover.

20:32: FUMBLE! The play is overturned and ruled a fumble, giving the Eagles the first turnover of the game.

8.30 p.m.: Williams appeared to fumble an Eagles recovery, but the officials ruled him out. However, Nick Sirianni got the challenge flag out just as the Rams were running their next play, and the refs ruled that Sirianni called the play in time despite the Rams running a full play behind.

20:26: Los Angeles drives on their first drive, largely due to a huge 15-yard Matthew Stafford run to get into Eagles territory, then a huge 27-yard Kyren Williams run to get into the red zone.

20:23: And we’re on our way from Los Angeles! The Rams get the ball first from their own 30-yard line.
