Carlos Sainz loses patience with Ferrari at Las Vegas GP: ‘Wake up guys!’

Carlos Sainz vented his anger with his Ferrari hold for a miscommunication i Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The Spanish driver raced towards the front but called for a second pit stop midway through the 50 laps.

Sainz was told to pit – and lined up to do so – before Ferrari called off the pit stop late in the day.

Sainz, who will be replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari next year, lapped a lap later.

A puzzled Sainz asked “What happened?” and when told his mechanics were “not ready”, Sainz replied: “Wake up guys!”

Sainz also appeared to cross the white line when entering the pit, but was not penalized by the race stewards.
