Charli XCX brings the “Brat” tour to Minneapolis

Minneapolis is finally on the “Brat” list.

Coming off her breakout year and a 2024 tour that skipped Minnesota, Charli XCX has booked a 2025 date in Minneapolis. The British dance-pop star — who served as double host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend — confirmed an April 26 date at the Target Center on a new leg of her ongoing tour behind her chart-topping and conversational surroundings album, “Brat.”

Tickets for Friday night’s concert in Minneapolis go on sale Tuesday via Ticketmaster at published prices. You can bet they go fast too. The pre-sale starts on Tuesday at 10 a.m., and the general sale begins that day at 2 p.m

The “Guess” and “Boom Clap” hitmaker, 32, was last seen in Minnesota in 2022 at the 2,500-seat Palace Theater — a reminder of how much of a difference “Brat” made in her career as she now plays the 18,000-seat venue . basketball arena.

However, she is hardly a stranger to big venues in the city. Hints at the concert came earlier this week when “Brat”-branded lime green digital billboards began popping up around town.

Charlis’ “Talk Talk” collaborator, Aussie star Troye Sivan, isn’t listed as part of the promotion for the Minneapolis date, but he was a fixture on her 2024 “Brat” tour, so it looks like he will be in tow. .
