Lindsay Lohan said Disney ‘Should’ve Paid Me Double’ for Parent Trap

Lindsay Lohan had the perfect wit for the CEO of Disney Parent trap red carpet premiere.

The actress, 38, recalled a moment from the 1998 event when she was 12 years old while performing on Watch What Happens live with Andy Cohen Wednesday, November 20 next door Wild girls costs Lacey Chabert, 42.

The Our little secret star revealed that then-Disney chief Michael Eisner walked up to her at the premiere and asked, “Where’s your twin?”

Lohan – who played both Hallie and Annie, separated at birth, in the comedy – remembered mentioning her Parent trap salary in her answer.

“I was so young I don’t even know how I was going to say this, but I’ll never forget what I said. I said, ‘Well you should have paid me double because I don’t have one! ‘ Lohan recalled hosting Cohen, 56.

Upon hearing Lohan’s response, Cohen high-fived Lohan as Chabert could be heard reacting with a surprised “Oh!”

Lohan’s response receives praise for WWHLhis Instagram page this week. One commenter wrote, “You should have paid me double,” is my mantra, and I don’t even play twins.” Another person exclaimed that Lohan was “a star right from the start.”

On WWHLCohen also asked Lohan, “What’s the most popular role you didn’t end up getting that no one knows you even auditioned for?” Fans on Instagram describe her response as “iconic.”

Lohan replied, “I mean, the first movie I auditioned for was The parent trap, and I haven’t auditioned since.”

Lohan’s latest role is in Netflix’s Christmas rom-com Our little secret, which also stars Kristin Chenoweth, Ian Harding, Jon Rudnitsky, Dan Bucatinsky and Wild girls costs Tim Meadows.

The actress previously told PEOPLE what these holiday movies mean to viewers and how it all makes her feel.

“I’ve been lucky enough to see them become a part of families’ traditions,” Lohan said, “and I still get so much joy from being a part of something that can uplift people at such a special time of year. ”
