After weeks without rain, North Jersey is now on a streak of precipitation, with part of the region getting its first snow of the season Friday morning.

After weeks without rain, North Jersey is now on a streak of precipitation, with part of the region getting its first snow of the season Friday morning.

The National Weather Service predicted up to 2 inches of snow in the northwestern part of the state. With the snow came several schools in the area that called for a delayed opening Friday or closing for the day.
