According to anyway a TikTok videoMarcello Hernández can’t seem to get through a stand-up performance these days without being forced to include a nod to his fan favorite SNL character Domingo. The character became an instant hit after appearing in the sketch on October 12″Bridesmaid speech,” in which Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman and the episode’s host, Ariana Grande, play a group of bridesmaids who sing a parody of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” at a wedding reception to tell bride Kelsey’s (Chloe Fineman) new husband, Matt ( Andrew Dismukes), with whom she cheated on him the Domingo during her bachelorette party. Apparently the skit – which quickly became the most viewed video of all time SNL‘s The TikTok site – has become so popular that Carpenter now also feels compelled to nod to it in his performances. On Sunday, Hernández made a surprise appearance at Carpenter’s show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles as Domingo. His triumphant arrival punctuated by his signature “Sabrina, I’m here” brought the house down. “I’m so confused,” Carpenter tells him in a video recorded by a fan. “Where are you from?” “I’m from Miami, baby!” Domingo answers. “I wish you were from my bedroom,” Carpenter shoots back.

It was the second time Hernández brought back Domingo this past weekend, as he also appeared in a sequel to his hit sketch on the November 16 episode of SNL hosted by Charli XCX. In the new sketch “Babymoon,” Kelsey and Matt have beaten the odds and made it through Kelsey’s infidelity crisis and are now celebrating the arrival of a baby-to-be. You’ll never guess who shows up and crashes Kelsey’s friends’ parody rendition of Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!” And so the countdown begins until Hernández shows up at a Chappell Roan concert a month from now. Until then, Barry Keoghan should watch his back or get on board with Domingo joining him and Carpenter in contention.
