The Titans lose linebacker Jack Gibbens for the season

The Tennessee Titans lost more than one game in their 23-13 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings, losing another starter for the season.

Starting inside linebacker Jack Gibbens, who has been one of their best players the past few games, suffered a gruesome ankle/leg injury during the third quarter on Sunday. He was immediately driven off and banned.

After the game, head coach Brian Callahan gave an update and confirmed what many feared: Gibbens will likely miss the rest of the season with an ankle/leg injury.

Gibbens is the second inside linebacker the Titans have lost during 2024 after trading Ernest Jones to the Seattle Seahawks before the trade deadline. In his absence, linebacker Jerome Baker will likely see an increase in snaps going forward.

The Titans will likely place Gibbens on injured reserve later this week. More details will emerge as they begin preparations for their Week 12 matchup with the Houston Texans.
