Chris Cuomo voted for Brother Andrew Cuomo for President

Wishful thinking?

Chris Cuomo voted for his brother, Andrew Cuomo, for president — even though the disgraced former New York governor wasn’t stupid enough to run.

The fired CNN anchor elaborated on his surprise choice during a podcast interview, sharing a photo of his ballot — while acknowledging that taking the photo “may have been illegal.”

Cuomo revealed the revelation to Patrick Bet-David on his podcast.

“I probably shouldn’t tell you, but I can tell you who I voted for,” Cuomo, 54, told Patrick Bet-David on his PBD Podcast when the interviewer seemed to assume he was voting for Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I voted for my brother. I wrote him in,” Cuomo said — adding with a laugh, “He didn’t win, by the way.”

Asked repeatedly by his shocked host if Cuomo was “jogging,” the NewsNation host said, “No. I’ll show you the picture.”

He then handed his phone to Bet-David, who gasped after looking at it, “Get out of here!”

Still, Cuomo was savvy enough to know not to let the podcaster show it on screen, saying, “I think it might have been illegal for me to take a picture, so let’s just pretend it didn’t happen.”

The journalist said his brother – who has been widely tipped to be planning a return to politics – seemed completely unconcerned when told about the write-in vote.

Still, he suggested the fallen Democrat seemed to understand why his brother didn’t vote for the party’s nominee, Harris — while praising the “movement behind” President-elect Donald Trump as being “very real.”

Still, “America can do better than these two candidates,” he argued of Trump and Harris.

“I think this country can do better … To me, I just think the choices are below the standard of American leadership. I think we have far better people to choose from.”

Chris Cuomo showed the host his phone to confirm he took a photo of his ballot.

The then government. Andrew Cuomo was understood to have wanted to run for the White House in 2020 until he was persuaded not to by the man who went on to beat Trump in that election, current President Biden.

Cuomo eventually resigned as the Empire State’s governor in August 2021 amid a flurry of sexual harassment allegations as well as dire allegations about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Still, he has been repeatedly tipped to be planning a return to politics, including rumors of a possible mayoral run.
