Evander Holyfield Knocked Out at 58 and Has Summed Up Mike Tyson’s Chances Against Jake Paul in 4 Words

Evander Holyfield has a unique perspective on Mike Tyson’s upcoming fight against Jake Paul.

Tyson returns to the ring at the age of 58, almost twenty years after his last professional fight, when he retired on his stool against Kevin McBride.

Holyfield, who famously beat Tyson twice when they fought for the WBA heavyweight title back in 1996 and 1997, also made a comeback at the age of 58.

‘The Real Deal’ faced former UFC champion Vitor Belfort three years ago in a fight dubbed ‘No Holds Barred’. Holyfield was stopped on his feet by the MMA fighter just 1:49 into the opening round, with the former heavyweight champion showing little to no resistance and poor balance. The event was widely criticized.

Despite this result, and the fact that Tyson will be up against an even younger man who has 11 professional fights, Holyfield told Clocked n Loaded that he still expects his former opponent to raise his hand.

“He (Mike Tyson) was going to win.”

Holyfield said he would go to the fight and that anything can happen in big money fights.

“My whole thing is that it’s an exhibition, so I don’t know what’s going to happen.

I just know that Mike Tyson would beat him. He should.

But in a situation like this, it’s a big money thing, so there’s no telling what will happen. I will be there. I’ll go see it.”

Paul vs Tyson will take place at the AT& stadium in Texas on November 15 and will be streamed live on Netflix as part of a standard subscription.
