Trump administration front-runner has Harrisburg ties

President-elect Donald Trump has been firing off nominations for positions in his new administration, and multiple reports say one that has yet to be made may have a significant connection to Harrisburg.

Alina Habba, a lawyer who has represented Trump, is reportedly a front-runner to become the next White House press secretary.

Habba, 40, from New Jersey, was a 2010 graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg.

During an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Tuesday, Habba was asked if she would take the job.

“Sean, you know me better than that,” she told Hannity with a smile. “You would never have me on prime time if I answered questions like that.”

When Hannity asked her about it again later in the interview, Habba replied, “I’m very loyal to President Trump. I would think about it. Very seriously.”

Habba first started working for Trump in 2021 and is a senior advisor to MAGA, Inc.
