Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman has deactivated her social media accounts after the unauthorized leak of private videos. The footage, which allegedly shows Rehman in a compromising situation with a friend, circulated widely on social media and messaging platforms, sparking intense public scrutiny. This incident highlights a worrying trend, marking the second recent case of leaked videos involving Pakistanis influencers on social media.
The private videos of Imsha Rehman circulated widely across platforms such as WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where the screenshots quickly went viral and were even turned into memes by some users. While some users expressed sympathy for the influencer, others called it a PR stunt for fame. This wave of public backlash prompted Rehman to deactivate his TikTok account. In a brief message shared before stepping away from social media, Rehman expressed how challenging the investigation had been, noting, “The response has been overwhelming.” Reports from local media channels claim that Imsha’s account is likely to have been hacked.

However, this is the second such incident where an obscene video of a Pakistani influencer has been leaked online. In October, Pakistani TikTok star Minahil Malik faced controversy after a private video of her and her boyfriend surfaced online. Minahil, like Imsha, became an easy target of intense trolling not only from netizens but also from people in the film industry.
The two events have highlighted the fragile boundaries of privacy for influencers in the digital era. These cases reveal how easily personal moments can be uncovered and exploited, with the impact reaching far beyond the people involved.

Slowly, with the boost from the initial success, she switched to TikTok where she was much loved. By 2024, Rehman had achieved an impressive 12.1 million likes on TikTok, establishing her as a notable presence among Pakistan’s digital influencers. This strong following attracted the attention of brands and provided opportunities for collaborations. According to several media reports, Imsha Rehman’s estimated net worth is USD 500,000.
