Hugh Jackman’s ex Deborra-Lee Furness subtly confirmed his affair with Sutton Foster

The speculation surrounding Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s relationship has been heating up ever since Younger star filed for divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, on October 22. Now, the confirmation of the alleged affair may have come from the most unlikely source in the most unexpected place.

Tasha Lustig, known for her gossip reports on TikTok and Instagram, washed up the dirt on Jackman’s entanglement with his Music man co-player. “Remember when I told you this man was not well,” she began her report. The social media influencer noted that Wolverine the star’s ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, was “blindsided” when she found out about their feud while working together on Broadway. Still, the 68-year-old actress is no shrinking violet.

According to Us WeeklyFurness “liked” Lustig’s Instagram feed from a private account so only her followers would know she made the subtle move. But her girlfriend Amanda de Cadenet had her friend’s back, commenting: “You’re on point with this one. My dear friend Deb is about to light her up anytime! That might be confirmation enough something happened between Jackman and Foster while they were working together.

There have been plenty of clues that, in retrospect, revealed that the two talented stars gushed over each other in the press. Foster even shared their pre-show ritual, which is now raising eyebrows because it was such an intimate moment between two people who were married to others at the time. The revelation came during a performance in July 2022 Staying with Kelly and Ryan.

“We hang out in my dressing room before every show and just catch up. Their romantic bond was “Broadway’s worst-kept secret,” and unfortunately, “Deborra-Lee was the last to know,” according to a Us Weekly source. “He couldn’t handle it”, and despite Furness wanting to save their 27-year marriage, Jackman reportedly continued to see Foster. Now Furness is left to pick up the pieces of the aftermath, but a friend promises the best is yet to come.

“(Deborra-lee) is a strong, resilient, creative woman,” they praised her. We have no doubt that Furness’ next chapter will be fierce.
