Carl Froch Performs U-Turn on His Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Prediction: “One Sided Whooping”

Carl Froch has changed his stance when it comes to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

Paul and Tyson go head-to-head at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Fridayand fought over eight two-minute rounds in a contest streamed live on Netflix.

It’s a matchup that has divided opinion within the sport, due to the massive age difference between the fighters and the fact that ‘Iron Mike’ hasn’t fought professionally since 2005.

Former unified super-middleweight world champion Froch didn’t hesitate when asked last year about his prediction for the fight, a confident one-man side while talking to OLBG.

“Mike Tyson would knock him out really bad. Dangerous move for Jake Paul, he’s completely useless, didn’t know he was still fighting!”

With only a few days until the showdown, Froch has now made a complete turnaround, revealing on his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel that he now believes that the ‘Problem Child’ will win.

“Mike Tyson shouldn’t be in there with a young man. If he gets knocked out and gets badly hurt, he gets knocked out by a nerd who used to be a TikTok dancer who can’t box. Does Mike Tyson really need to jump in there with Jake Paul? It’s a shame it has come to this.

“It would be great if Tyson goes in there and gives him a hoot and lands a few shots, but the reality is I don’t think he’s going to be allowed to catch him.

“I think it’s going to be a one-sided brawl and Jake Paul is going to beat him for four or five rounds as Mike Tyson is going to be completely spun and probably fall over.”

All will be revealed when the fight takes place on Friday and boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya has summed up Paul’s abilities in just four words ahead of the fight.
