NBA star addresses Kyle Singler after concern on Instagram video

Former Duke superstar Kyle Singler posted a scary post on social media about his mental health, making scary statements and raising general concern about his well-being.

Following the post, NBA star Kevin Love reached out on Instagram to express his support. Singler’s initial post can be read as a cry for help. Now, Blue Devils fans are worried about him and hope he gets the help he needs.

Singler was a four-year starter at Duke and won the 2010 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award en route to a championship. He is beloved and one of the best Blue Devils in recent memory, indicating that not even the most accomplished among us are immune to serious mental issues.

Under Singler’s original posthe stated that he wanted to make an announcement, implying that his voice was “muted.” The 36-year-old claimed he was mistreated, abused and neglected as he shed light on his mental health issues.

Singler said he fears for his life every day, prompting Love to respond saying, “I love you Kyle. Hit me anytime. Please.”

Love has been one frequent advocate for mental health awareness in the latter stages of his career, speaking openly about his own struggles and prompting other professional athletes to seek help and attention.

While Singler has been out of the spotlight for some time, he faces significant issues to address. He has the support of fans behind him, although it seems that additional help is needed.
