McDonald’s Spicy Chicken McNuggets are back for a limited time

McDonald’s has a hot item left on the menu.

The chain’s restaurant Spicy Chicken McNuggets are available at participating McDonald’s starting Nov. 4, PEOPLE confirms. A representative for McDonald’s says they are back “for a limited time only” and only in select locations.

Hungry customers will be able to buy them in Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, New York, San Antonio, Memphis, Tenn. and more. People are encouraged to check the McDonald’s app to confirm if your nearest location has the offer.

Spicy McNuggets are made with a crispy tempura coating seasoned with a mixture of cayenne and chili pepper.

The bites have been on and off the menu since making their McDonald’s debut in 2020. The spicy spin was the first iteration of McNuggets since their inception in 1983.

Spicy Chicken McNuggets sold out in two weeks after the initial launch. “If our customers really can’t get enough, there’s always a chance we’ll bring back limited-time menu items in the future,” McDonald’s said in a statement at the time.

They were most recently on the menu in autumn 2023, but also appeared briefly for customers in 2021 and 2022.

This isn’t McDonald’s only recent chicken-related news. In October, the Chicken Big Mac became available in the United States after only being available in locations internationally.
