Patrick Mahomes’ mom sends a bold political message in new Chiefs Game video

When the Kansas City Chiefs picked up another win on November 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Randy Mahomesmother of the quarterback Patrick Mahomeswas there to cheer him on — but she also decided to share a political message ahead of Tuesday’s election.

The mother of three dressed in a red and gold sweatshirt emblazoned with “Chiefs” across the front and a red hat that read “Make America Great Again” as she addressed the public in a new video.

Randi vigorously supported the presidential candidate Donald Trump as she said, “Make America great again, let’s do it!” Then she let out a cheer and threw her hands in the air and did a little dance.

The response from fans was mixed, with some expressing support for Randi’s political message, while others criticized her for the action.

“Love it Momma Mahomes!!!!!!” said one supportive fan as others shared similar encouraging notes. Critics of the move called it “embarrassing” and “shrinking”.

Someone joked, “The Mahomes/Kelce suite could get a little awkward tonight. Go Chiefs,” likely referring to Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s public endorsement of vice president Kamala Harris for the 2024 election.

One fan questioned why Randi was even allowed to wear the political hat in the football stadium when both fans and players has gained attention for going against the NFL’s policy of not wearing political clothing during football games.

“I thought you weren’t allowed to wear political stuff to games, they threw out some bills fan for the same thing and wanted to be fine with nick bosa … just thought that was a big no from the league,” the fan wrote in response to Randi’s new video.

Patrick has not publicly endorsed the presidential bid, although his wife, Brittany Mahomesgot into some hot water for his recent social media activity.
