Polls close in Nevada; voters in line can still vote

The Nevada Secretary of State announced that polling places across the state were closing at 6 p.m. 19.00

However, officials are urging voters who were in line at the time to stay and exercise their right to vote.

According to Nevada law, every eligible voter must be in line by 19 PST are allowed to cast their vote.

The Secretary of State’s office will post the first unofficial results online at Results.NV.gov when confirmation is received from all 17 counties that voting has ended and the last voter has cast their ballot.
