Trump Says Oprah Should Be Ashamed: 'It's Ridiculous ... She's A Divider'
Donald Trump said he is disappointed with Oprah and her dire warning she gave on election night.

Former President Donald Trump responded to Oprah Winfrey’s warning that if “we don’t show up tomorrow” there may never be another vote, calling it ridiculous. Speaking after his vote at the Madel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said Oprah should be ashamed of herself because she is a great divider. Oprah made the remark on election night at Kamala Harris’ rally in Philadelphia when she said, “If we don’t show up tomorrow, it’s entirely possible we won’t have the opportunity to ever cast a vote again.”
“Well, I think it’s ridiculous. Oprah, I was on her last show or one of her last shows and they picked the biggest people and all that and made a big deal. And actually I’m disappointed,” Trump said.
“I think Oprah has become a huge divisive figure in our country, and I honestly think she should be ashamed of herself,” he continued. “And you know who else should be ashamed? Fox. Because I’ve seen Oprah on Fox about 50 times make the same statement. And I think it’s a disgrace what Fox is doing because everyone thinks Fox is so pro-Trump. They are not pro-Trump at all. They’ve been putting on Oprah all morning.”
Trump said Oprah chose Mar-a-Lago for the funeral of TV executive and her mentor Roger King. “Oprah picked the spot,” Trump said. “She said, Mar-a-Lago is the most beautiful place. Would it be possible to have Roger’s funeral at Mar-a-Lago in the ballroom? We did. The only time I’ve ever had a funeral there. And I think that Oprah should be ashamed to say that. She should be ashamed.”
Then he mentioned that Oprah once wanted to run with him for vice president, as expressed in a letter she wrote him in 2000. “Too bad we’re not running. What a TEAM!” “And now she goes and makes statements like that,” Trump said Tuesday morning. “She’s a divisive. And Barack Hussein Obama is also a divisive.”
