Texas senior quarterback Quinn Ewers it was reportedly offered nearly $6 million to remain in College Football and enter the NCAA transfer portal according to Pete Nakos of On3 Sports.

On3 Sports evaluates Quinn Ewers’ NIL valuation at $4.3 million.

In his third year as the starting quarterback for Texas LonghornEwers, has etched his name among the program’s greats. After starting 29 games and leading Texas to 22 wins, he has thrown for 7,378 career passing yards, surpassing Chris Simms (1999-2002; 7,097) for sixth in program history.

The elite passer has recorded 56 career touchdown passes, ranking fifth all-time at Texas. He has thrown a touchdown in 20 consecutive games, giving Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders the longest active streak in the FBS. His streak trails only Colt McCoy’s program record of 29 games.

The report comes a day before the Longhorns are set to square off against Big 12 Champion Arizona State Sun Devils in the 2024 Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. CT.

There have been reports recently that Ewers has transferred to Notre Dame and is entering the NFL Draft.
