Tim Allen’s new comedy series, SHIFTING GEARS, just got its first trailer.

“In the trailer, Matt’s (Tim Allen) old values clash with Riley’s (Kat Dennings) modern parenting style with light-hearted friction,” Screen Rant reported Nov 20 “Dennings, known for her comedic roles in 2 BROKE GIRLS and DOLLFACE, shines alongside Allen as the two display a mix of heartfelt moments and laugh-out-loud comedy in the working-class suburbs of Detroit.”

“The release of SHIFTING GEARS’ official trailer means ABC is gearing up for the family sitcom’s premiere next month. As a comedy that balances generational clashes with family reconciliation, Shifting Gears seems like a promising new addition to ABC’s family lineup,” said Screen Rant.

Matt, who hasn’t seen his daughter in 15 years, struggles with sudden parenting (and grandparenting) duties as Riley navigates the new dynamic with him and her two young children…Riley and Matt’s relationship is bumpy, to say the least.
